WELCOME TO CHAMPIONSHIP MARTIAL ARTS OF Merritt Island
Located in Merritt Island, Space Coast Championship Martial Arts offers age-appropriate training and advanced pathways for students across the Space Coast. Our Ten-To-Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu system combines striking, forms, throws, sweeps, controlled partner work, and self-defense. Students progress on their own timeline while learning discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and our guiding principle, Every student matters. Together, we grow stronger.
Class Times: Classes are offered at various times between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., depending on the day of the week and the program. These are general availability windows, not continuous classes or daily operating hours.
Every student is different, so we start with a free evaluation. We’ll help you find the right program and walk you through your class options and pricing.
SELECT A PROGRAM
Little Dragons builds coordination, focus, and confidence in younger students through structured, age-appropriate martial arts classes. It lays the foundation for kids who may later continue into Youth CORE.
View ProgramOur homeschool martial arts option gives local families structured physical education through the same age-appropriate classes as our other students, from Little Dragons through Teens and Adults. Space Coast CMA is an approved Direct Pay Provider with Step Up for Students for eligible FES-UA and EMA Marketplace families.
View ProgramYouth CORE teaches the foundational skills of Ten-To-Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu, including strikes, kicks, self-defense, forms, and controlled partner training. Students advance at their own pace while building focus, perseverance, and teamwork along the way.
View ProgramOur Teens and Adults program welcomes beginners and experienced students alike, combining traditional technique, practical self-defense, and conditioning in a respectful, supportive environment. Instruction adapts to each student’s fitness level while maintaining the standards that guide real progress.

We believe that confidence, discipline, focus and determination are life long traits that anyone can learn through practicing martial arts. Our classes are designed to help all ages develop basic and advanced skills in martial arts while also focusing on building leadership and life skills.

My oldest daughter has moved from white belt to yellow and has begun the core sparring class. she has gained so much confidence since beginning. My youngest is in the lil Dragons class and will be moving up in Febuary. They both love coming to class. My son has been to about 30 classes and I have nothing but positive things to say about Master Ross and Mrs. Shelly. They are great with the kids and I’ve personally witnessed so much progress in my son. From the very first day Mrs. Shelly has been extremely helpful in answering any questions I’ve had, to making sure that my son always has what he needs. Master Ross is patient with the kids, and most importantly extremely consistent with their routine allowing them to constantly add onto their skills. My only regret is honestly that we did not sign up earlier. My son had been asking to do Ten To Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu for about a year and I looked around at a lot of different places. Of course cost was a consideration but more importantly I wanted to make sure I found a good match for him. A place where they were concerned about form and technique but also my son as a person. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff here. They are kind but hold my son accountable. They have incredible communication. We are a few months in at this point and he talks about what he learns and practices CONSTANTLY. It is so much more than just kicks and punches. I cannot recommend them enough.

Ms.Burke is an incredible instructor in Ten To Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu but also life skills,if you want a studio that’s not too violent and teaches your kids to be honest and disciplined than take them to M.Y Ten To Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu studio!!!!!!
