WE LOVE MIMA! My daughters have been going here since September and absolutely love it! My oldest daughter has moved from white belt to yellow and has begun the core sparring class. she has gained so much confidence since beginning. My youngest is in the lil Dragons class and will be moving up in Febuary. They both love coming to class. Master Ross, Sensei Mason and Miss Shellie are awesome and my girls cant wait to see them every week.

I want to start by saying how impressed I am with how the staff at MIMA takes the time to get to know each student and their individual needs. From the second you walk in the door, the pride the owners take in every aspect of their business is apparent. My son is 6 years old and enrolled in the Dragons program. This program offers a positive and structured learning environment for younger children while providing fun and challenging martial arts curriculum. Highly recommend MIMA to any family looking to explore or commit to martial arts!

Ms.Burke is an incredible instructor in Ten To Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu but also life skills,if you want a studio that's not too violent and teaches your kids to be honest and disciplined than take them to M.Y Ten To Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu studio!!!!!!

My only regret is honestly that we did not sign up earlier. My son had been asking to do Ten To Ji Japanese Kenpo Jujutsu for about a year and I looked around at a lot of different places. Of course cost was a consideration but more importantly I wanted to make sure I found a good match for him. A place where they were concerned about form and technique but also my son as a person. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff here. They are kind but hold my son accountable. They have incredible communication. We are a few months in at this point and he talks about what he learns and practices CONSTANTLY. It is so much more than just kicks and punches. I cannot recommend them enough.

My boys have been apart of MIMA with Master Ross for a little over a year now, and they both have such a great time. They have both learned so much from him and Sensei Mason. Shellie is always so warm and welcoming.

My son has been to about 30 classes and I have nothing but positive things to say about Master Ross and Mrs. Shelly. They are great with the kids and I’ve personally witnessed so much progress in my son. From the very first day Mrs. Shelly has been extremely helpful in answering any questions I’ve had, to making sure that my son always has what he needs. Master Ross is patient with the kids, and most importantly extremely consistent with their routine allowing them to constantly add onto their skills. Biography

Shidoshi Grady joined Space Coast Championship Martial Arts in the fall of 2022, becoming one of the founding students of our brick-and-mortar school alongside his sister. From the beginning, he has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the pursuit of self-perfection and a willingness to rise to every challenge placed before him.

As of August 2026, Shidoshi Grady holds the rank of Low Brown Belt in our Kenpo Jujutsu system. His strength, resolve, and commitment to giving his full effort during every training session serve as an inspiration to students both on and off the mats.

Shidoshi Grady continues to participate in advanced training sessions alongside Sensei Maison. These sessions focus not only on developing higher-level martial arts skills but also on understanding the foundational principles behind teaching, leadership, and the business of martial arts. His continued investment in these areas reflects his desire to grow into a knowledgeable and well-rounded instructor.

He approaches competition with the same mindset he brings to every belt-rank challenge: quiet determination, dedicated practice on and off the mats, and a willingness to learn from every experience. As a well-respected member of Team Space Coast, Shidoshi Grady also helps younger team members develop a stronger personal connection to the techniques and material they are learning.

Through his actions, Shidoshi Grady shows students that meaningful progress does not always need to be loud. It is built through consistency, humility, perseverance, and the decision to keep moving forward-even when the challenge is difficult.

Looking ahead to 2027, Shidoshi Grady’s goals include earning his black belt with Space Coast CMA and pursuing an additional opportunity to test alongside Sensei Maison and Shidoshi Troy during the CMA Black Belt Test.

Students can look forward to seeing Shidoshi Grady more frequently in belt-rank classes and having opportunities to continue their training through scheduled private lessons with him at Space Coast CMA.
